  What does your user name here mean?

  i don't know what eles to call it , i guess it is the user name....lol.......so what does yours mean?.

  i think awhile back i might have asked this,,,,,,,but it was way back and so many new ones here that i am just getting to know, and ones who came in here while i was not here as much.

  there may be a thread on this in the last recent months, i am not sure,,,,if so, if there are any new ones who want to tell why they choose their user names,,,,,please do.. i will tell you why my name is lyineyes,,,,,many have asked me that here lately.

  we picked ours because,

  there are 2 of us

  we have Escaped the borg intact with our two boys, and

  we were Lifers: born into it, and did the whole MS married Pioneer song and dance ( unfortunately this also meant that we made all Life decisions based on their b*llsh*t.)

  Marital Status after Armageddon

  what's the deal regarding marriage and marital status after the "big 'a'"?

  i was once referred to mat 22:29 where jesus says that resurrected people will be like angels and neither marry or be given in marriage.

  but that doesn't cover all the possibilities.. i have also read (but a search doens't give me what i need) that those married couples surviving the big a will remain married in the new system.

  This was one that always plagued us as well. When we broached the subject with anyone after doing our own extensive research, we were given the "pat" answer that "we can be assured that Jehovah will make everyone perfectly happy" and "not to worry about it."

  Jehovah's Witnesses / Apostate statistics.....

  ok ok....don't bite at the "apostate" label.

  but recently someone on here told me that disaffected/inactive/d/f jws now must out number jws as a whole.. i (funny enough) disagreed.

  does anyone have proof otherwise?

  alright, alright... I'll reply. Sheesh!

  IMO, there are more ex-Jw's than "active" publishers. However, I would not think there are more ex's than memorial attendees. But, I could be wrong.

  ok, so we get a call from some friends who looked up to us as "who to be like".

  we have been on the fade for, well, a long time now, which is quite a contrast because we were the never miss type.

  the last conversation i had with the husband he kind of opened up about how he was having trouble going anymore.

  time to pick on the guys!

  i was an adult when i was conned into the corporate cult known as jehovahs witnesses.

  before that time i hung with a rough crowd of guys who carried guns and did bad things to people they didn't like, or who were stupid enough to let these guys know they disliked them.
